I'm happy to share with you this important goal: the project has been launched exactly 5 years ago.

First of all, I want to thanks everyone for all your support... who use the project since the first release, who contributed to the project giving me ideas, who believed in the project and "bought me a coffee" (or also a couple of it!).

Let's look at the main phases together – not all releases, you can find that information in the "News" section of the website

In the very first release there were just a few of emojis, and it was using the default OS emoji style (in the screenshot, it was on Windows)

In the release 2.0, I'll added many new emojis divided by sections (it's still in this way the organisation!)

In the release 3.0 arrived (a basic) search feature

In the release 3.2 arrived Settings, in the release 3.5 arrived "delete most used emojis" for the list... then arrived many new features, like Auto-insert ("Insert directly the emoji"), the support for skin tones, the customisation of the emoji style, etc.

And now?

Some weeks ago we opened the official Instagram account (follow it!).

Today has been release the new website, and not only!

You can subscribe freely to the newsletter. I promise you I will send to you only useful information, and not too much emails! Newsletters shouldn't be just spam.

I have in many planning many new features which will be implemented in the next years, a preview of them:

• A new section in the website where you can see the list of the emojis present in the add-on, where you can also suggest new emojis, new keywords, and also issues
• Contests which will permit you to earn "Emoji add-on" official gadgets (t-shirt, mug, stickers, etc.)
